Shakespeare in the Schools

Welcome to the 2008 season of "Shakespeare in the Schools!" We are proud to present "Romeo and Juliet," featuring Shakespeare at Play.

This educational-outreach program has been bringing Shakespeare to the teachers students of Clark County for 16 years. It begins with a teachers' in-service in the spring, followed by on-site student workshops in the fall. The program's highlight is a free student matinee performed at the Henderson Pavilion. All activities feature professional theater companies and are offered free to the participating schools.

Join us for these exciting upcoming events:

Saturday, May 17: Teachers' In-service at CCSD Curriculum and Professional Development Offices

Monday, Sept. 29 - Wednesday, Oct. 1: School-site student workshops at CCSD middle and high schools

Thursday, Oct. 2: Student matinee of "Romeo and Juliet" at the Henderson Pavilion at Liberty Pointe
