The Public Education Foundation in collaboration with the Clark County School District has been developing a system that can facilitate a paradigm shift in K-12 education through the strategic use of emerging technology. The WorldWide Learning Connection (WLC) will usher in the next generation of Learning Management, bringing the way students are educated into the 21st century. This innovative online learning community will fundamentally change the way educational content is created and shared. The system will embrace the implementation of common core standards with measurable outcomes gauged with traditional and alternative forms of assessment. Additionally, WLC will empower and engage students by making them partners in learning and teaching, while providing more opportunities to students who may not otherwise have access to the best education. Because of the magnitude of WorldWide Learning Connection, we are seeking partners from the local, state, national and international communities to join us in accepting the challenge of finding new and creative ways to work and learn together, encourage understanding and acceptance, and use technology to equalize the educational opportunities of all children regardless of location and/or social and economic circumstances. If you would like to learn more about the WorldWide Learning Connection and the partnership opportunities available, please call(702) 799-1042.
