How You Can Participate

The uses for surplus materials are endless. The Teacher EXCHANGE™ makes it easy to go green! Examples of materials you can donate include:

  • Unused Paper
  • Card Stock
  • Index Cards
  • Specialty Papers
  • Office Furniture
  • Pens and Pencils
  • Markers and Crayons
  • Dry Erase Supplies
  • Scissors and Staplers
  • Rulers and Glue
  • Folders, Binders, Notebooks
  • Colored Pencils, Erasers
  • Tissues, Paper Towel
  • Erasers, Post-its, Tape
  • Backpacks
  • Pentium 4 or Higher Computer/Laptop
  • Cell Phones
  • Printers and Monitors
  • Fax MachinesScanners
  • Printer/Copier Ink Cartridges
  • Calculators
  • Carpet samples and tiles
  • Any materials that inspire creativity

Teachers and students find many ways to use products creatively in their classrooms. For example by recycling surplus materials, teachers can use items such as ceramic tiles, wallpaper, yarn, fabric, and craft supplies for a variety of projects, carpet samples and carpet squares for reading and activity centers, props and tools for theater sets  and construction projects. A little help goes a long way for our children.
