Initiated in 1992 to encourage teacher innovation,
improve student performance and recognize best practices, The Foundation's
grant programs continue to grow. Today, our grant programs focus
resources on literacy, improving school attendance, increasing
parental involvement, ensuring access to technology and promoting
best practices. We encourage all Clark County teachers, counselors,
support staff and administrators to apply.

IMPACT
GRANTS
Established to encourage public school staff to try new ideas,
these grants support innovative student-based programs and projects
that have the ability to be replicated or adapted district-wide.
Teams or individuals employed by the Clark County School District
are eligible to apply.
EQUITY
GRANTS
The Foundation established its Student Enrichment EQUITY GRANT
program to encourage activities that help students expand their
horizons. EQUITY GRANTS have been established to"level the

are not receiving many of the enrichment opportunities students in more affluent
communities are provided.

success.
